No A380's for FedEx...Virgin and maybe Emirates

Recommended Posts

Airbus has pushed out the first delivery of the A380 until around 2008 and FedEx canceled all of their A380 orders! Fedex is going with 18 777's in stead. Virgin Atlantic has told Airbus to go stuff themselves also and won't be touching the A380 until at least 2013. Emirates is sending a team over to France to access Airbus also and may also cancel. Bring on the Fedex 777F repaints! LOL!

Well well,....I am not surprised at all. Infact, in the very beginning of production, I thought that the A380 will be the model which probably brings down Airbus. And now we are maybe there...RIP....:-rollhttp://www.scandicair.com/images/sa_banner.gifDell Dimension 4600 P4/2.8 at 3.0 Ghz1024 Mb DDR333 Dual channel memory (2x256,1x512)AGP 256 Mb ATI Radeon X850 Pro ViVo, flashed to a X850 XT PE. Actually, it's 15, with 15 options. I think this may start the A380 order cancellation snowball rolling...

Glad I searched for this topic before posting. The lead ramp agent at our Fedex station in Grand Forks, ND posted the company news about this today. He also joked that Grand Forks would see three of these jets in service instead of our regular 727-200s. I'm sure we'll never see these babies in good old North Dakota.
