December 23, 20232 yr Hello fellow flight sim enthusiasts, I'm just reaching out for some guidance regarding an issue I've been having with one of the Garmin systems in my flight simulator setup. I frequently use planes that are equipped with both the Garmin G430 and G530 systems. While the G430 operates flawlessly, displaying all the usual information, I've encountered a peculiar problem with the G530. The issue specifically pertains to the display of airports. Unlike the G430, the G530's screen simply suddenly stopped showing airport data. It seems to function normally in all other aspects – now just representing basic topography and airspace lines – but it falls short in displaying airports and other info as I fly by like way points, which is something the G430 does without any hitches. I'm looking for step-by-step guidance on how to resolve this issue and get the Garmin 530 to show all the relevant information during flights, similar to the G430. Any tips, troubleshooting methods, or insights from those who might have faced and resolved a similar issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help! Best regards,
December 23, 20232 yr What sim are you using?? This forum is for FSX, the Microsoft Flight Simulator version released in 2006. It sounds like you are actually using MSFS, the 2020 version, as a Garmin 430/530 wasn't a stock option in FSX.
