...is exactly the reason why I will never post anything that recommends performance improvements. Dave found something that worked for him and all he did was share that with us. But some of you guys are way over the top. I've almost doubled my average framerate with FSX since a recent reinstall but I sure ain't going to share how I did it with this group. I appreciate and will take all the tips I can get.:-) Unfortunately on my Vista system with a Q6600 and an 8800GTX it made absolutely no FPS difference with all the Vista visual goodies on or off.Ron
