Flight Sim Graphics Comparison

http://members.iglou.com/goya551/GraphicsC...hicsCompare.htmJust because I was curious.Sims are:IL2 1946 - 4.08Lock On - Flaming Cliffs 1.12aFSX Accel DX9 with GraphicsX texturesFSX Accel DX10 defaultAll graphic options are at the highest.For those that are unaware, IL2 is OpenGL and Lock On is DX8.To me, the water is what really stands out. IMO, IL2 is the best water by far. Lock On really suffers from tiling.Ground detail is no contest. FSX has no competition here.If anyone wants to add some X-Plane pics, I'd like to see them. The area is Gelendzhik bay on the Black sea and altitudes are 6500feet and 600 feet. Time is 8:00am in the summer.

Maybe someone should make the water for FSX DX10 darker ?Otherwise, I think it is very close to IL2 - judged from those shots.BTW, nice comparison shots.Jan
