The constant freeze ups since the last update!  I went for 2+ years before them without it happening and all of a sudden I can't go anywhere without the program locking up solid.

Try turning off live traffic if you have it on. That is the common wisdom suggested in thread topics about recent freezes. I was like you, zero freezes, then an avalanche. Turning off LT seemed to have solved it for me.  I hope it can help you and good luck.

PS…I’m using AI in place of LT for now  still have planes at airports and in skies so I’m good for now until a fix is made

You are probably right, I haven't had a freeze since I started using FS Traffic a couple a weeks ago.

Hmm, okay.   I have set it to AI traffic.  I hope that will make a difference!

I’m not having constant crashes but I am having occasional crashes since the last SU…went a long time without a crash before.  I’m not using live traffic.

I've never had a CTD before. But since the last update I've had a few. Not regularly, but defintiely more than I ever have.

I was plagued with many CTDs the last two months (before and after the recent SU). A closer look into the the sim revealed that many default airports (where I had no add-on alternative) did not even show runways in the sim map. Maybe other important files were missing too? Anyway, I decided to make a clean reinstall of MSFS two or three weeks ago, et voilá, no CTD since then. Only exception, PMDG 737 loading at KMDW RW 04 L/R gives immediate CTD. But this may be add-on related as DrzDesign Chicago City and KMDW airport as well as FSDT KORD could bee too much for the sim. Otherwise the sim performs better than ever.

Download PSXT and have worldwide real traffic in your skies.

Do you need a subscription from RealTraffic to run PSXT properly? something like 10 dollars a month? A bit pricey that

Clear the cache and lower the traffic (AI). I did it and that helped...completely. 

nothing unusual, its a traffic issue.

I get this pretty consistently lately. a good 30 second freeze every flight is getting to be all to common.

Welll, you could just use FSLTL since it's free and has live traffic

 

But actually from the user guide you can do this step too:

• FlightPlannerDB API - Configures injector to represent optional realistic flight plan following. Without this API key aircraft will fly direct from origin to destination. Create an account at https://flightplandatabase.com and enter the API key from the settings page to use this feature. Optional but highly recommended.

I use FSLTL exclusively and have been since it's launch. I've seen people mention PSXT many times on here and on streams and it works differently albeit for a premıum price.

real traffic is 3.79 dollars a day based on a years subscription of 107.99.  

for me its worth the money for the realism (and considering the other scenery and addon aircraft garbage that gets sold for ms2020 for not much less)  I think its good value.  But depends what you want
