February 1, 20242 yr Something like a CV-440 would be amazing. Not a local legend, but the Blackbox Shorts 330/360 comes with freighter versions that are still active in the Caribbean FYI. It’s a well done aircraft. February 2, 20242 yr Sorry for the dumb question, but so far in the few videos I've seen, everybody started the helicopter with CTRL+E, which led the rotor to spin immediately. The only counter example I've seen was AvAngel, which effectivement started using the buttons in the cockpit. However, even in her case, the rotor started spinning immediately. Aren't the piston engine helicopters supposed to have a clutch, which should be engaged before start ? Appart from this, and without judging the flight model (I haven't tried it), the 3D model of this helicopter seems of very high quality ! I just really don't like the cockpit with that off-center panel and "empty" view in front, so I don't plan on buying it. Edited February 2, 20242 yr by Daube
February 2, 20242 yr Looks like a cool, light addon, meant for players not looking after sophistication and precise systems simulation... Honestly not for me ... I'm tired of toy simulation.... February 2, 20242 yr To each, his own. I have always found that helis were the poor cousins of the FS franchise. I see a real improvement with MSFS. For the first time, when I am in my Cabri I understand what flying a heli is all about (including how to hover 😋). It is far from perfect sure enough but they are moving in the right direction. February 3, 20242 yr I'm really enjoying this helicopter. Yes, the flight dynamics are simplified. But the sound and visuals make up for it. For $10 it is certainly a very good add-on. And I just finished two liveries for it. Including the first helicopter ever to transport a U.S. President. https://flightsim.to/file/68596/microsoft-bell-47j-ranger-u-s-air-force-57-2729 https://flightsim.to/file/68595/microsoft-bell-47j-ranger-d-helt Greetings Tim My files on Flightsim.to i5 12600K | 32Gb | RTX 4080
