A circuit around KJAC Airport (Wyoming)...in a DA62...

Featured Replies

While waiting for the Super Bowl...🙂...I felt I should take out the DA-62 for a spin, and do a quick loop, around Jackson Hole (KJAC) Airport, which I've been meaning to visit in MSFS since a long time ago...

Here are 15 pictures of it. I take off southward from Rwy 19, make an immediate (LHS) U-Turn, head north along Rwy 01 direction till the FAF of ILS Rwy 19, make another (LHS) U-turn over those lakes, just alongside the Teton Range Mountains, and then finally land on Rwy 19.

Thanks for viewing...!

All my FSX/P3D repaints are here on Avsim, for my MSFS repaints, go to FS.2

Great shots! 😉

Thanks, and that's a good piece of observation, Jan. I hadn't noticed how similar looking those 2 shots really are ...🙂...That's because, I've lifted off and landed on the same Rwy 19, in the first I'm about to start takeoff roll, and the second, I am almost rolling to a stop after touchdown...In fact, if you look at that little thing sticking down under the right wing, you'll see that it's position relative to the hill behind is different...otherwise, yes, hard to tell apart...🙂...

Nice set, P! I love the look of the DA62 from the outside, but the view from the cockpit feels claustrophobic so I rarely use it.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Thanks for chiming in, Andy...And you're surely right, but my co-pilot didn't seem to mind...🙂...seriously, I will need to check out some images of it on the Diamond website...
