When was the last time you were happy about something, so you came over here looking for help? One reason we see so many people having problems here is because they are having problems. The happy guys are out flying.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180

Could someone please take a screenshot of X13 (Carrabelle,Florida) and area? I am convinced if it is improved I will buy GEX, we are called the "Forgotten Coast" here for good reason :-). Even in the flight sims it seems.ThanksDanny

After a couple short flights in the North West and Northern California I must say what a bloody difference so far. I really liked the FSX textures but wow, these are amazing. Flying over forested mountains takes on a whole new level, the perception of depth has changed dramatically. So far so good although the downside is now that I'm constantly looking out the window I've nearly crashed into high terrain several times now. I can live with that though. So far the town and field textures are just as amazing, and I'm looking forward to flying up in Alaska as soon as UT Alaska comes out. Things are looking up that's for sure.Excellent package and for just 30 bucks. Thank you.

After running the setup file it seems to want to install to c:program files ...Is that correct, should it be the FSX dir instead?

For the life of me I can't tell if my install is wrong or I'm just underwhelmed. GEX installed to C: program files, and installs the textures to D:FSX, where I keep the sim, but my mountains don't look that great. GE Pro for FS9 made a stunning difference, but I'm (sadly) just not seing it here, though I do see some new auto-gen.Probably my fault, just have to keep playing with it. Mind you, there should be a splash screen text that tells you if GEX is running like there was with FS9. Sometime GE Pro would turn off in FS9 if you fooled around with the sim and you would have to re-install a texture set. No big deal, but it was nice to see the text on the splash screen letting you know the status of the program.

Just got it a while ago. Textures are very nice. However the water is weird. I tried a few water settings in FSX but still the water color is weird.
