Based on the progress we done this week, I am hoping we will be able to test these features next week and start a private alpha in our developer lobby.

"Private testing" in January, "private testing" in February, "private testing" in March, then a "private alpha".

This is dragging out like a meeting before lunch!

Well they could just release a broken beta so they can giver people reason to complain. Lots of major changes in this one Im sure they dont want to give some people reason.

Default 12.1

Looks promising, especially if it solves the horrendous sharp angles we see on coastlines.

They release broken stuff all the time, this would be no different! Still waiting (years now) for a network fix for NUMEROUS broken items! Yet I also thought this was a beta, isn't that what public beta testing is for?

Im sure if you can do better they would welcome your help, you should watch all the complaints about the other sim every time they release an update and they only have to deal with windows.
