Good! I've just had the biggest flight-sim binge ever, what with the new releases and Easter sales. ( Curses upon Just Flight, Flying Iron and Burning Blue! 😂 ). At least by next week, my pensions will have replenished the coffers. 😉

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

Speaking of old warhorses, has anyone bought the F-86 yet?

Yes.  I think it is good for the money.  Nothing to dislike about it even if it has a light system depth (although the vast majority of the switches / buttons work).  It is a beautiful model, flies nice (needs a bit of trim relative to speed and thrust though as you would expect), and I am certainly enjoying flying it.

I just wish I could find the bloody gear horn cancel switch. It drives me up the wall!      If you cut thrust below about 70%, off it goes.  These old jets did require higher revolutions rather than just cut back to idle.  It does have a high spool up time if you cut right back, as expected.

They do mention the gear horn cancel switch in the manual, and suggest a key assignment for it, as it is difficult to find and reach apparently.  But I have a head tracker.  If they say roughly where it is, I will find it, and maybe take it out with a hammer!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Sincere thanks Burt!  I will get my virtual hammer ready!

How is the Bronco and the Duke doing? Everything fine and release soon?

The Duke at least can't release till after SU15 comes out and there's no indication when that will be yet

So the Bronco is the only hope left, because SU15 release can easily be late autumn too, or in December because they surely need to focus on FS2024 and the most important FS2024 updates first.

Here are some appetizer screenshots of the Bronco, look how high-polygon the engine and the springs of the canopy glass mechanics are, and many more high quality details:

Personally I'm reasonably confident SU15 isn't going to take another 6-9 months to come out.

Still looking forward to it, but have to say id rather they had no engine details and instead sorted out the Panel lines, they look like someone drew them on with a pencil

But I fly from cockpit view so it's a minor niggle

Azurpoly have announced on Discord

We are confident to say that our OV-10 Bronco should be released today on MS Marketplace, on PC and Xbox. Microsoft teams and us have been working hard for the final validation and we hope to be on the right track.

We know that many of you are also waiting for its availability on third-party stores. We are currently preparing everything needed to target a release before end of next week.

To go through this last wait, here is another nice trailer from CaptainKenobi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZbxbUKCpdk

Developers hope to release in MS Store today, shortly after for third party resellers.  From their discord just now, the final trailer.
