405: RT Server problems, trying to reauthenticate

Recommended Posts

I've been getting this message all evening in PSXT "405: RT Server problems, trying to reauthenticate". My license is totally valid. (PSVT ver 6.5.0).

When this happens it really crashes the framerates in the sim.

Anything I can do?

Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz
64.0 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

All fine here.....

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

How can it crash the frame rate if there is no RT connection ...?

Just as a check, do not try to run two copies of PSXT (or accidentally do that) , and do not  try to run PSXT and PSXTYrafic at the same time

It's worked about 2 out of 10 times in the last hour for me... too bad.

Most likely a temporary problem in the RT server

Certainly not a PSXT issue

Please open a new thread if you have a different problem then the OP.

You can set the parh to the Community folder in C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Roaming\PSXT\parameters.xml

Here is mine:

    <parameter name="MSFS_INSTALL_PATH" value="C:\Users\nwkaa\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages" />

See the Manual section 3.3
