People walking across the road right through traffic is something I see in all these old videos from 1905-1930. Horses, cars, people dodging each other constantly.

I have a movie editing and making hobby, on top of my flightsimming.  Both occupy tons of time.  I just love these old videos, even though the sound is dubbed in and colours may not be super accurate, they are pretty darn good if I do say so myself, and it brings to life a bygone era, one can just imagine standing on those streets listening and taking in a typical day about town.  Wonderfully done!  I wish I had the very expensive software to remaster old video this well.

thanks for posting.

What an amazing video, such resolution based on film of that time.  I even saw a large saloon car, just like the one my grandparents had when I was little.  That video was taken 11 years before I was born!

Fascinating. Thanks. But...I would have thought by now they would have learned to drive on the right and pass on the left 😀 .

It's interesting to see how people were already mature and educated and acted acordingly to society's norms, I think that's why it's one of the popular cities in Englad nowadays, can't imagine a bad town to be like Oxford, even in 100 years...

That only works for escalators. (Stand on the right, pass on the left).
