Vista,Dx10 or dx9?

What is the deal with Vista and DX10 and DX9?I am going to upgrade and probably go with Vista.What do I need to do with it for FSX/Sp1 and Acceleration?Thanks,Ron

Vista supports DX10 and DX9XP supports DX9FSX SP1 supports DX9. So did FSX RTM.FSX Acceleration and the "to be released" SP2 free download add DX10 support.

Thanks for the reply.So,I think I read somewhere after Acceleration (which I have) came out that there were some issues with DX10 and you could disable it if necessary?Thanks,Ron

yes you can pick either DX9 mode or DX10 mode, depending on whether your favorite add-ons have issues with DX10 mode.
