I have flight simulator X not deluxe edition and i have over 400 hours on it. But i just made a Youtube channel and have been putting up screenshot video's. But I want to do Actual flight video's. It says in the flight Simulator X learning center That all you have to do is to click on the options menu,Click flight video and then recording intervals. I have one simple question..... Where is the options menu. Please help me out on this. Thanks For your Time, Flightsim93

Hold down the 'ALT' key. Use the same key again and the menu will disappear.Regards,Jim Karn

Niner-Three,To make FSX movies, you need 3 software elements:* A recorder to record flight dynamics which can then play back the flight while you record the video* A program to record the video* A video editing programYou can get all 3 free:1) FSRecorderwww.fs-recorder.netThis records the flight data (where you went, what you did). It can then play it back while you capture video with the next program ...2) FRAPSwww.fraps.comFRAPS just captures what it sees on the screen and puts it in AVI files that you can then edit with the next program ...3) Windows Moviemaker 2.0Comes with XP free. From there, you can get more expensive versions of all 3 and certainly there are competing software available ... but this will get you started cheaply and easily. The process is fairly easy:1) Fly while recording with FSRecorder2) Make video clips with FRAPS while playing your FSRecorder recording3) Edit the video later.Doing it this way allows you to concentrate on flying while you are recording ... positioning your camera while making video ... and then post-production work (adding music, titles, transitions, etc.)Hope this was helpful.Cheers,Kevin
