The two best addons I ever bought don't exist for XP12?

It's a bit diffcult tackling complex projects like a FSHUD equivalent for XP12 as the sim is a bit of a moving target. The next major update may just as well fix major grievances with AI and ATC, invalidating all the effort spent on making a third party plugin.

Is FSIPanel supposed to be something like FS Instant Approach? https://www.fsinventions.com/

Yes, but it can place your aircraft at any SID / STAR / APP, a custom waypoint, and configures it in accordance with the situation so that there are no surprises when it is ready for you to take control.

FSIPANEL also allows to run "adventures" where you can take an aircraft from gate to gate and deal with malfunctions, go arounds, etc...

You can also save your flights for future reflight...

Not sure if these will work with XP-12 but they are the only options there were available for 10 and 11, and are a bit dated.  Not sure if JP has plans for XP12 as he has worked mostly in the P3D & MSFS platforms.

Can't resist to ask 🙂

Can I dream of the MJ Q-400 in XP12 ?

XPlane is desperately needing many urgent upgrades (clouds, graphics, performance, AI/ATC, careers, scenery/diversity, multiplayer, immersion,  multi threading etc) but the progress is not happening as expected.

I agree, although I still have hopes.... I'm still wanting to believe 12.1 will be worth the wait.

ATC (default) lags way behind my expectations though, and it's difficult to believe it'll reach an acceptable level, comparable to my experience in MSFS and P3D with FSHUD and FSLTL...

But then, oither than that, airplanes and helicopters at least fly plausibly and manouver on ground acceptably, and default weather is promissing and already very acceptable for my use, so.... just as before with other versions, XP is still my Go-To non combat flightsim for "feel of flight" and bad weather operations(*)

(*) A pitty AeroflyFS does get even less support, because it surely has potential too in as far as flight dynamics and systems modelling goes...

X-plane is moving forward in a different way than other simulators, 12.0.9 is already a very good simulator, for me much better than the competition, in the points that matter to me personally.

FSHUD and other add-ons have nothing to do with Asobo or Laminar, they are third party add-ons.

Bring on 12.1 !!!

Was looking forward to using SayIntentions with XP 12.1 once it’s released, but just saw that the devs discontinued support due to the shrinking user base. 😕

While possible, porting this to XP is quite a heap of work, so there'd have to be sufficient interest or a really good pitch to the devs for them to start a port.

Could you elaborate on hpw you create adventures from gate to gate.

I don't see this option in fsipanel-only scenarios.

Cheers
