Just like with Xplane, if there is enough call to make it worth the time to support it, we will find a way. And ALL supported sims will always be covered under the same subscription. In our original beta test with several hundred users, we only had 3 who used Xplane, and 2 of them were me and Brian. But since wird has gotten out, theres been enough people asking and with the help of Laminar, we are able to bring it back. If someone starts a P3D push, the same thing can happen. 1 hour ago, Bjoern said: If you say "services", I assume you have separate ones for speech recognition, to process the recognized text and to generate the verbal outputs? Thats exactly it. The fact that that everything is processed in the cloud is how we both, make sure to have Zero effect of frame rate or processing speed of your system, and are able to make it as fluid and close to human as a computer has ever been in the flight sim world.

Wow, so the percentage of XP users was way under 10%, with respect to the post that Sethos made: If there were 3 XP users out of several hundred users, and 2 of the XP users were developers, that's like really 1 XP user out of several hundred users that were using your product, if the developers are excluded. That's far less than 10%. Edited May 18, 20242 yr by Flightsky

Alright, that justifies the subscription cost somewhat. However, I'm a bit surprised that there still is no AI model out there that can do all three things simultaneously. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days

The reality is that it was a fuzzy beta project based on a buzzword that everyone is numb to hearing about. And said buzzword was also based on tech that has been just as criticized as lauded. Of course 1 person isn't worth developing for if profit is the goal. And of course that's a garbage representation of market reality. The reality is that even if that fuzzy 10% total market share estimate is accurate, it's still many 10's of thousands of users. Clearly now that the youtubes are up and the product is showing very healthy promise, it's generating enough noise to trigger a u-turn. Turns out that ~10% actually isn't that small of an absolute number. Still good for XP, regardless of how poorly some folks interpret the words. Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. May 18, 20242 yr I am very interested in this but unfortunately where I live the price makes it impossible for my economy, let's see if in time the technology matures and the prices come down so we can enjoy this marvel.

Sorry, but name me one streaming service that has ever dropped the price? inflation and other expenses makes the prices go up, not down. // 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //

SayIntentions will. We announced the coming price drop a couple weeks ago… We’re just giving the new models about a month to see what they at actually cost so we can drop the price accordingly…. Our costs are going down with newer more efficient AI models, and we pass those price drops on to the subscribers.

I’m mean…. It’s 2024… AI is all the world seems to talk about, and no one wants to try to be the big box store of the AI world? Doesn’t make sense why they all have to be separate…. But such is the world at the moment.

But even if the AI cost went way down, you still have AWS, storage, databases, voice packs, security, payment options, salaries, admin costs +++ Nothing is better than you being able to sell it for 19.99, so I will be hoping for the best. // 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //
May 20, 20242 yr Hi, Their try it now page makes it look like it's available already, is this true? Here is their web page: https://www.sayintentions.ai/join Also a question in regards to their Terms and Conditions as shown below. Is there any time/word limit on usage per month? Thanks SI is available now, yes (it has been generally available since about mid-January). There is no monthly time or word limit. The only limit I'm aware of is for trial accounts: you get to use it -- all you want -- for 24 hours. After that, you have to subscribe. As a customer, I can't speak to SI's policies re: service outages and refunds but I can say that any outages SI have had have been relatively short-lived. I've also seen Brian offer to reset the 24 hour trial periods for people who were affected by back-end bugs and/or outages so I expect that if SI suffered a "major outage" they'd take care of their customers.

As i use XP >75% of the time i was very pleased to be surprised last week with support for X-Plane being added. I was using it over the weekend and it works just as in MSFS. I saw on Discord also considering a Mac app as well to bring those X-Plane users in too. There were a couple of X-Plane related bugs that the developers are very quick to jump on and fix via their Discord. I am going month by month and if there is major issues with service availability then that will definitely affect my decision to renew. All good so far. To me this seems like a developer led ATC solution rather than marketing led which i really like too. Edited May 20, 20242 yr by jamesb removed duplicate word
