May 20, 20242 yr There is a separate chapter about that in the manual. “FBW - It is not an Airbus” // 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //

The method by which it was found, a rando on reddit running a subdomain scan on their website because Mathijs let it slip today he was working on a web-based manual is not an intentional leak, come on. And their futile attempts to censor any and all discussion on their forum about it screams screw up. This is classic PMDG being out of touch with modern technology and not properly protecting the stuff on their website. And it's not like people haven't been talking about the 777 constantly. Maybe not here but elsewhere in the community it has been nonstop. They didn't need this to happen to keep it in the minds of people. Also if you think Randazzo would allow features to be revealed without coming through his obnoxious walls of unnecessary text with flowery metaphors about how it's the greatest thing of all time then I have a bridge to sell you. Praising what deserves to be praised. Speaking in metaphors makes it even more mysterious and coveted. The Boeing 777 glides through the heavens, its wings embracing the sky with the grace of a celestial ballet like a Katana, a sliver of moonlight, cutting through the air with silent precision, weaving a dance of honor and poetry in the tapestry of the world. Beneath, a cherry blossom tree, a symphony of pink and white petals, whispers nature’s delicate secrets, each bloom a fleeting kiss from spring. Edited May 20, 20242 yr by JetCat

I don’t think it’s fair to call it obnoxious. His pompous mangling of english language has always given me quite a laugh. Driving a coach and horses through his ‘peek-a-boo’ marketing strategy by posting the manual online has given me quite a laugh too….
May 20, 20242 yr I said from the beginning that hiring THIS MAN for a marketing position was a big mistake...😄😉

His english is perfect, both grammatically and in usage. He has an expansive conversational style of writing, but that's not poor english. If you think this was an accident, I have a bridge to sell you. Smart move in my book. We’re all talking about it now. I don't think it's a marketing trick by PMDG (and I also do some minor marketing myself). The way the manual was found was somebody on Reddit went and scanned all the subdomains of the PMDG website: Quote I saw Mathis on the PMDG Forum talking about an online manual because they can contain videos and images. And I remembered, that the AS A330 manual is also openly hosted on aerosoft servers. I found that some months ago, but didn‘t share it. So I used a subdomain scanner to find all subdomains for pmdg and found 777.pmdg.com. Which lead me to an empty forbidden page. And then I just guessed /manual and there it was. And guess what. This same person on Reddit that went and scanned the PMDG website for subdomains, also decided to scan the Aerosft website for their subdomains and this person found the Aerosoft A330 user manual too: It's just sloppiness by PMDG and Aerosoft, to put up their manuals online, on their subdomains, without any type of password control or any type of restrictions. Typically, when you put up a subdomain on your website and you don't advertise that subdomain, most people won't find it. But then you have people like the Reddit person, who has a very high knowledge of IT and websites (I am guessing the person is probably a web administrator or web developer themselves), that happens to like to snoop around, and then you see they expose the sloppiness of PMDG and Aerosoft. For Aerosoft, I am pretty sure it's not a marketing move that their user manual was found as they are not even close to releasing the A330. It's just that they were sloppy, and this same person from Reddit, exposed both PMDG and Aerosoft. Edited May 20, 20242 yr by abrams_tank i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
May 20, 20242 yr Has anyone found a new link or upload for the 777 manual? I really need that 🙂 to fully dive in my next precious flying freight truck. You will get a 777 Haiku and a 777 wallpaper as exchange, promise! 14 hours ago, Andrew2448 said: 1. The default MSFS weather radar is included 2. Inibuilds A300-style brake wear/glowing brakes type features have been added 3. There are some options in the FMC about a custom steering system. Unclear if this is going to clear up the horrible ground handling present on the 737 or not. 4. Camera shake for ground roll, touchdown, turbulence, aerodynamic effects, etc. have been added. Possibly will obsolete FSRealistic usage entirely. 5. The EFB can be moved between 3 locations - the default position over built in tablet location, on the window, and over by the CDUs to help with data entry. AWESOME!!! And I am sure many more cockpit customization options are available, for example the standby-instruments and other details. And FMC in the window I wonder how this will look like. Look at this beauty, a feast for every true airliner fan! I hope more material will leak this week... Edited May 20, 20242 yr by JetCat
May 20, 20242 yr PMDG Released a Boeing manual with the first 747 release back In FS9.But Boeing told them to remove it as it`s copyright under Boeing. Since then, they have included a sim based manual for each aircraft. Raymond Fry.
May 20, 20242 yr Just to confirm, this 777 content exposure was unplanned as admitted by Mathijs of PMDG. https://www.thresholdx.net/news/p777ma Latest video at The Flight Level Flight Over Frozen Lake Erie - Between Ice and Clouds - Ultimate Solitude - The Perfect Memory
May 20, 20242 yr Judging by how far along they are I reckon a release on or around FSExpo is now the most likely timeframe. I hope I'm wrong and its out long before then though.
