E.g, one day I may smoke a blunt, that will change my voice, so all the training will be for nothing, another day I might be little bit drunk and that also changes my voice and messes with the training. Some days I might have to whisper, so I dont wake up the whole family if flying late. SI seems too accept all my strange voice conditions:p. Im 99% sure it will not work out for me… Also Im pretty sure the robotic voices will kill my immersion…much more so than not having traffic injected(wich SI and BATC will also feature in the future). If you roll it out with a demo, I might give it a try… /honesty alert It's almost certain there won't be a demo available to everyone I'm afraid. May 21, 20242 yr What you showed in the video is nothing that BATC doesn't do as well, departure is the easy part, it's arrival where things fall apart. I'm fine with the voices, what I want is realistic handling of all phases of the flight, also I want airliner not GA. BTW, if you taxied around the airport that fast you'd have ATC on your case for sure, THAT kind of thing is realism, in the real world the tower is watching you 🙂 In the real world you can actually get a call from the FAA for doing bad things, and for a real pilot that's about as scary as an IRS audit 🙂 Jack F. Im not willing to risk my money buying VOX Atc and not liking it and waste my money. If I could try it before buying it, who knows, maybe I would become a new customer… Edited May 21, 20242 yr by Kaboki

A massive difference. I don't want to be flying in empty skies or in some parallel universe from the AI traffic.

Sure, I understand that is a cool goal, but that is secondary if it can't handle the descent and arrival in a reliable and realistic manner, I bought BATC and it fails at that, so I could care less if it talks to other AI in the sim at this point 🙂 Jack F. VOXatc still has a 30 day trial: https://voxatc.com/Home/Download I used it back in FSX/P3D years ago but had to stop using it because of constant CTD especially during SIDs. Also, Support then was really slow via mail to the developer. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW

As for ATC reacting to excessive taxi speed - sure, that'll be realistic. But I'd say sort out the basics before adding stuff like that. 2 minutes ago, jfv said: Sure, I understand that is a cool goal, but that is secondary if it can't handle the descent and arrival in a reliable and realistic manner, I bought BATC and it fails at that, so I could care less if it talks to other AI in the sim at this point 🙂 I like to have AI traffic around on my flights (I fly both GA and airliners). So at least to me, realistic ATC control of AI (as well as my aircraft) is at the top of the list in terms of realism / immersion. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

May 21, 20242 yr I already own BeyondATC, but if the price is right and the quality is much better than BeyondATC, and there isn't something revolutionary in MSFS 2024's ATC, I would be willing to try another ATC program like VoxATC. Although I would probably wait until VoxATC becomes more mature, before buying in (unless VoxATC is also $30 USD and is light years ahead of BeyondATC on its release, I would reconsider). Anyways, it's great that MSFS has all these ATC programs coming out, we MSFS users can't complain about the abundance of choice, and the competition providing us with all that choice. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

I am not going to enter into a debate about the relative merits or otherwise of BATC, apart from correcting your factual statement. So, Vox injects and controls AI traffic, VATC doesn't - this is different Vox controls complex VFR and IFR operations, BATC doesn't - this is different Also, don't try to conflate a discussion about what the atc app is capable of, with my SIM flying habits. There's no connection. Just don't go there. I have been meticulous about NOT making comments about Vox in BATC threads and I expect the same courtesy in return please. Please do not get into a flame war about the merits of the apps or I will ask a mod to remove them. Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS
