I hear online that there is no change log yet. I would say that this file is a no brainer for anyone who has installed the latest Nvidia video driver that came out a few days ago. These nvngx_dlssg.dll files come out right after the new Nvidia video drivers are released.

My experience with DLSS from a few months back was that it was blurry with digital displays.  Has that been improved?

This is is not a DLSS file and therefore you cannot use DLSS swapper to install it.

This is a FrameGen file (nvngx_dlssg.dll) which you download and paste into the folder containing your Flightsimulator.exe file.

The video posted at the top of this thread shows the process in detail.

Hey Noell.  Thanks for the heads-up.  So does this file replace the old DLSS file and take over it's job or is this DLSSG thing a different thing?  Kind of confused now.  Thanks.

The DLSS file and the DLSSG files generally go together. The one with the G is for people using frame generation. I think I'll wait until the DLSS file is available as well.

v3.5 still works best for me.  v3 5.1, v3.6 and v3.7 caused issues (though I can't remember what they were atm).

Keep in mind some updates will overwrite this DLL file, so it might get reverted sometimes.

Clearing junk (always a good thing to do, but not the same thing as clearing DX shader cache):

Windows key + R  (RUN dialogue box)

type prefetch

Control A (to select everything)

delete it all (right click, delete)

--

Windows key + R

temp

Control A

Delete

-----------

Windows key +R

%temp%

Control A

Delete

-----

Windows key +R

cleanmgr

Control A

Delete

-------------

Once again, this is not clearing DX cache.
