June 11, 20241 yr Excellent update! Just installed. Gonna do a quick flight in a bit. I knew something big was on it's way from FSDT. Whenever there's a large gap between updates, I start worrying that Umberto's in a body cast in a hospital somewhere. Glad to see he's still alive and kicking. 👍 i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440
June 12, 20241 yr I just tried my first flight in the Fenix with the GSX passenger update, I can watch them board the aircraft but as soon as they sit down they disappear and even though all passengers are on board the cabin is still empty and this is on the ground. Any pointers into what I am doing wrong would be greatly appreciated. And be sure you are using an official livery from Fenix Livery Manager. If you are using a unofficial livery, check the name of its package in the Community folder: if it doesn't start with "fnx-aircraft-320", the FSDT Installer won't recognize it as a Fenix livery so, for example, if you have some livery named this way in the Community (the package name): FNX_320_SomeLivery Rename it as: fnx-aircraft-320-SomeLivery Then enter the FSDT Installer again, enter the Config page, wait for the airplane page to load, be sure Seated Passengers are enabled, and CLOSE the button. This should work. Umberto Colapicchioni http://www.fsdreamteam.com FSDT on Facebook

When it fires up, bottom right you will see "Seated Passengers" and under that, Fenix A320 B2. Ensure that is checked. Worked for me.

The passengers board the plane, take their seats and then diasppear. I've followed all the steps suggested (official livery, config page in the FSDT Universal installer set as advised, cabin door open, latest version installed). When I leave the flightdeck and walk through the door, all the seated passengers appear. Strangly, when I'm in the rear part of the cabin, they suddenly disappear again. So they are only visible when I'm in the green area: In showcase view they're always visible. I should add that I use VR. That explains it, in VR all LOD tables which has been carefully optimized for 2D are not valid anymore, so you need to set the Object LOD slider to 200. If you use AutoFPS, be sure OLOD is set to not go lower than 200 either. Edited June 13, 20241 yr by virtuali Umberto Colapicchioni http://www.fsdreamteam.com FSDT on Facebook
June 13, 20241 yr I`m having a problem using the seated passenger update on certain liveries downloaded from the Fenix Livery manager, If I use British Airways G-EUUW by Atarium and enable update in GSX config this happens when I load the aircraft in the sim. However if I use Eurowings 9H-EUR, also by Atarium, the passenger update works fine. Both liveries work fine when GSX seated passengers is unchecked in config menu. I have noticed there is a difference in the livery folders between both liveries in that the Eurowings has an Exterior textures.xml in the model folder where the British Airways one dosn`t , it seems to have a different way of doing it. Any ideas how to solve this as its stopping me use certain liveries with the passenger update. TIA

I only have official liveries from the Fenix Livery Manager, Yesterday I kept the cockpit door open to see the passengers board which they did, it was then once they sat down they disappeared. I'll hopefully have some time later to try again. June 13, 20241 yr Yet another excellent update! 🥳 Version 3.0.5 – June 13th, 2024 GSX Pro NEW: Added custom Dynamic Lights to the cabin, to solve an issue with MSFS not calculating illumination for objects attached to the airplane, fixes the black passengers at night. GSX Pro NEW: GSX Menu now has an update notification sign (will be visible on the next update). GSX Pro Change: FSDT Installer now recognize Fenix Liveries in packages starting with "FNX_320", which should allow support of more unofficial liveries with no renaming required. GSX Pro Change: Several Passenger models has been slightly scaled down to better fit seats. GSX Pro Change: Various minor improvements in several Passenger textures. GSX Pro Change: Passengers LOD Levels inside Cabin tweaked further to gain some fps. GSX Pro Change: Recognition of Row 13 missing from the A320, so the LVariable usable by developers will now match the actual row names better. - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.
June 14, 20241 yr Great update. Any chance we’ll ever see flight attendants serving drinks or oxygen masks getting deployed? Maybe a “Karen” getting kicked off the plane? Just a thought.

And that's precisely what we'll do because, it's not as if the Idle animation is more costly than any other animation: once you accepted the eventual fps loss of having animated passengers idling in the cabin, they might as well dance or fight with each other (no, we won't do these...), it would be exactly the same. Animation is animation, and Idling costs exactly like any other one. Umberto Colapicchioni http://www.fsdreamteam.com FSDT on Facebook
