I think 32 planes just went on sale. Marketplace.

Understand the sale.  Most are as lacking as the video.  I have some quality aircraft I paid $20-$30 for that I now rarely fly. I am unable to identify any of these I would purchase, or perhaps even DL from TO as freeware.  Not flaming here.  Just see no appeal.

Really?  PMDG -700 and -800?  A2A Comanche?  JF BAE-146 and Arrow? FSW Chancellor, Got Friends Wilga, SWS Kodiak, and more.  I'd say a pretty impressive selection.   The main issue is that most of the folks around here probably already own the ones they're interested in.

Thnx. I failed to see some of those when I perused the sale.  Still the ones of interest are in my hangar already, but in mothballs. Spending most of my time in the Hondajet and Blacksquare Baron.  

Also, the nature of sourcing through the Marketplace finds the aircraft still "locked".  I like to rem out all but a couple of liveries, etc. so find I acquire the models elsewhere.

I did pick up the PMDG 737-800 with a $20 discount from this sale.  No problems with the download, install or add on liveries so far.

I used to extensively use the 737 in P3D, but then I got away from flight sim for several years.  Back to a learning curve for me.

Sale is on through June 15th. (MSFS marketplace sign says ends June 16. From experience, I realize the day it "ends" is one day too late to buy.  Always has been that way! 16= you're too late.

 

Purchase won't complete? This for the Steam version.

You can't buy anything in the marketplace issues:

1) enable the In Game Overlay in Steam Options.

2) never start MSFS as an administrator.

3) The Steam wallet (payment method) must be correct in Steam (not in the marketplace). purchase will fail about half way through.

4) If purchase starts but then cancels, sign out of MSFS using your icon in the upper right corner. Then close MSFS. Then reboot MSFS. (This has worked twice for me more than once, including today ).

Bought my firat addons, as I had not purchased any yet, and splurged.on the 737-800, the Comanche, the BAe 146, and the Glider 🙂
