it should be in the "client area", of your account page (at least that's where I used to download their B717)
My order is still pending and site is extremely slow and I just got thrown out and back into a virtual queue awaiting access to their website.

Hopefully it's not as chaotic tomorrow night 🙂

Is it going to appear on any of the major seller sites, like Contrail, Simmarket, Orbx etc.?  Or just directly from TDFI?

It's in the client area, but showing "Pending" here.

Perhaps we'll get an email when it's ready to download? I'm worried that I may have inadvertently purchased several times as the website timed out after I clicked purchase...

Yes I think we just need to be patient.

Your order should show under services in the client are. Even if it shows only 1 item (in my case, the 717), once you click on it the MD-11 will appear.

Purchased and received the confirmation email. However, activation is still pending after almost two hours.

I went to logon to the TFDi Design website  a couple of hours ago & was put in a 'queue' to access the site, with a wait of 3 hours 21 minutes that is now down to 40 minutes, so things are improving. 

What forms of payment do they take?

It's obvious that their servers are overloaded. Even though they took precautions with limiting users on their website. Just logged in and it's still "pending" in the client area.

Paypal and credit card.

So I'll just do something else while waiting for the MD11 and Xbox server to be ready 🙂 I could start the sim though so downloading a few world and city updates.

Well!

Checked the site page & there was the MD-11 waiting to be purchased.

1 key stroke & I was bounced out to 1 hour 30 minute wait!😀

Same thing appears to me. However, when I click download, a message appears saying that I need the product activated to download.

Still pending after 3 hours.

Downloading but it's quite slow. I got an email: "You can download the aircraft via the MD-11 Installation Manager". Also a link to an online quick start guide. Also available are a systems guide and normal checklists.

I'll wait until it clears out, maybe tomorrow, it does not really matter. I'm happy with their success already.

I last flew the MD-11 in FS9 in 2016, I can wait 24 more hours.

Ahh all this talk  about activation is not TDFI's problem, Or PMDG or anybody like that 

 

Blame the word not allowed hackers and software pirates. 

Like they say " the actions of few impact many"

There are the ones making your lives difficult.  Makes me angry AF sometimes
