July 8, 20241 yr Hello, do you experiencer this phenomenon when you make an automatic landing on PMDG 777 with the front caster suddenly crashing? Kind regards Marc
July 8, 20241 yr Well, last weekend I found some spare time to put various aspects of the PMDG 777 simulation to test, and on two occasions, one with crosswinds with an effective xw componnet of up to 10 knot, the autoland was perfect, including the ROLLOUT phase. No nose gear collapse at all. I have malfunctions/failures disabled. Might it be due to failures being active in your configuration? July 8, 20241 yr Just performed an Auto Land KBOS 04R, touchdown and rollout was good, but about 30 feet right of centerline, with the localizer diamond on center, On another issue,The KBOS Navdata is wonky, and sometimes missing(runway & departure procedures) METAR KBOS 081354Z 13006KT 10SM FEW050 SCT075 SCT250 26/20 A3004 RMK AO2 Jim Driscoll, MSI Raider GE76 12UHS-607 17.3" Gaming Laptop Computer - Blue Intel Core i9 12th Gen 12900HK 1.8GHz Processor; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 16GB GDDR6; 64GB DDR5-4800 RAM; Dual M2 2TB Solid State Drives.Driving a Sony KD-50X75, and KDL-48R470B @ 4k 3724x2094,MSFS 2020, 30 FPS on Ultra Settings. July 8, 20241 yr Author Thank you Jcomman and Bigsky for your assistance, answer i will try to disabled all failures features in PMDG SETUP thru FMC.

There is a CDU menu option at PMDG Setup > Options > Simulation The function of which is described as follows in the 777 Introduction Quote CORRECT LOC CRS TO MSFS: Regarding navigation data, MSFS has an inherent weakness in that data related to ILS/LOC stations is hard coded into the simulator and is not updated to keep it current with the normal magnetic shift. The end result is that the localizer final approach course in the MSFS world will sometimes vary from the real world. Since many users also use real-world navigation charts, this can create confusion and problems if the LOC course needs to be correctly set to match the MSFS hard-coded information. (The aircraft cannot fly the localizer properly if the CRS on the CDU NAV RAD page is set incorrectly) To compensate for this, we recommend setting this option to ON, and we will read the appropriate MSFS localizer course and adjust the setting for you, thus saving you time and frustration. I haven't yet checked this option, but it seems to address ILS misalignment. Good luck.
