Add me to the list getting flickering lights as well. They also seem to turn off with LOD (moving around makes the lights appear and disappear), but that issue has been around for a while and I think it's unrelated to what's being discussed here. The flickering lights is a new one.

I think you have the same bug that by night live traffic dont have lights and you can not see it.

Some planes show lights but short time that explain the flickerin you said.

Just speculation; but it seems like every SimConnect call resets the light state, then applies the light state, creating the flickering effect

That's really nonsense, sorry to say

The strange thing is that a lot of people (amongst myself) do not have lights issues.. That with the same piece of software...

Mayby you have not updated to the latest Visual C++ runtime as described in the Manual? I suggest you guys try that first.

I think this is great idea
To have a stable well developed version and then Beta for those who enjoy beta testing
I wish we could also roll back to features that have been abandoned like flyover feature

Maybe an idea for big software companies, but I am on my own.

Rolling back will never be supported by me, because it will make giving support a hell of a job.

Besides, RT also forces me to update to changes every now and then, so you cannot stay behind.

So which version C++ you use ? I will give it a try.

As I thought it update automaticly with psxt.

Also which package aircrafts you use ? You confirm you see all lights by night, taxi, landing , nav logo light?

Installing the latest C++ version also didn't fix it. It is still broken. This bug makes it unusable by night unfortunately.

I think Nico is attempting to repair lights going off in a moment of touchdown.
I am observing mostly on airliners lights off until take off and they blink once right after takeoff and then continue blink once every 12 - 13 seconds
Some GAs seem to have lights working like they used to.
I also observed E190 sitting at the gate with beacons on, then the taxied with beacons on correctly, and then at lineup beacons continue blinking while strobes correctly started blinking as well.
It took off with all the lights correctly functioning.
I’ve looked at the systems CFG and I don’t see difference, but some thing is that make it work like it used to in FSX...

in the process of experimentation I loaded FSLTL AI traffic and the lights work there as they used to.
Nothing on the ground but in the air I see strobes and beacons
