July 17, 20241 yr This is really strange. I haven't flown the turbine Duke for a little while, but now when I start it up, I can't get the NG to rise above 18%. I'm doing a normal start, ignitions on, starter on, introduce fuel at 17.5%, but it never goes beyond 18%. Also, the fuel flow pegs at the far right of the gauge. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I re-installed the plane, and it does the same thing. https://www.mediafire.com/view/dz3buh31pti9cej/BoeingDriverSignature.jpg/file

July 18, 20241 yr Shot in the dark but where are your condition levers during this process? Worth checking you don't have some conflict in controls that is pegging them/fuel at cutoff is my random thought? I don't use it myself but does everything look good on engine page of the tablet? You must allow fuel pressure to peak before engaging the starter and then allow NG to peak before moving the condition lever forward from Off. Here is the video I found as well as my resulting checklist. You are most likely damaging the engines. Repair process is in the manual that is supplied. See the Manual folder in the installation of the model. My checklist is in the spoiler window below. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=how+to+start+blacksquare+turbine+duke&iax=videos&ia=videos&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dlu5qkpQQuuM Spoiler TURBINE DUKE STARTUP & ENGINE STARTING PROCEDURE SYSTEMS STARUP Fuel Request / Load Payload Load . July 18, 20241 yr Author @FFPilot; I tried your start up method but achieved the same results (see pic in my link). Strangely, as soon as I advance the condition lever, the fuel flow peaks (see the red arrow in my pic). As can be seen, the NG does not rise above 18.0. I also have the same issue if I try the sim shortcut of Ctrl + E. As far as repairing the engine, I checked and there are 0 failures listed. https://imgur.com/a/UsV8cpH https://www.mediafire.com/view/dz3buh31pti9cej/BoeingDriverSignature.jpg/file
July 18, 20241 yr I'm not sure but I think I had similar problem due to dual binding conditioner/mixture on one axis. As soon as I created two profiles: one for "piston" with mixture axis binding. and another separate one for for "turbine" with conditioner axis. Click on “Repair Engine” and check whether the status turns green, increases to 100% and whether you can then start the engine. Edited July 18, 20241 yr by outermarker
