[MSFS] No moving traffic on the ground and on takeoff.

Recommended Posts

Hi, I started using PSXT again a few days ago, I updated correctly to the latest version, but there is a big problem, which for now I have noticed at KIAH (fsdreamteam) and KMEM (amsim), that is, despite there being numerous traffic moving on the ground (from fr24), in the sim I see practically nothing, like on KMEM everything is "dead", there are many fedex planes parked, on fr24 many are moving, and many are taking off, but on the sim, nothing, what could this depend on?

Do you have an active license? Are there any aircraft shown as "Live" in the PSXT UI? Are there any error messages?

Hi, yes I have an active rt license, and psxt sees it regularly too. The live traffics are displayed on the PSXT interface but they are not physically there on the ground, I have not had any errors in the interface.

Hi, also check you aircraft package , for example if I use IVAO MTL TRAFFIC package it will show a lot a lot aircraft as this package has all existing liveries and planes . If I use only FS TRAFFIC package I have less planes...because it have less models.

Well... it's all so strange, in the sense, I have over 9000 liveries (and psxt sees them), but the strange thing, referring to KMEM, is that the fedex planes (all models more or less) were parked, but none of them moved, and they didn't even take off.

...a curiosity, let's say I don't see a plane that should taxi and take off because the livery is missing, in the log, does it store this event or not? If yes, in what way? I ask because this is how I check.

Memphis is well known to have very poor coverage in psxt as well ás FR24. Arrivals tend to turn off their transponders on the taxi in well before the apron and departures only when nearing or on the runway.

 Pick airports with better coverage.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong...but...if on fr24 there are planes that start taxiing (many) and then take off, shouldn't psxt reproduce them for me on MSFS?

FR24 is not the standard you should match PSXT with (unfortunately). Pls. read the manual.
