Restore from old PC

Recommended Posts

Because I'm an word not allowed, I've set up my new PC without making a backup first of the Axis and Oh's settings/DB/Templates/scripts.
I still have the drives as images is there anyway I can get the data back from them or will I need to again?

You can move the files over manually from the AAO folders.

C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\LORBY_SI\LorbyAxisAndOhsMSFS
(only the "live" files and folders. Disregard all logs and backups)

C:\Users\...\Documents\LorbyAxisAndOhs Files

But. On your new PC all hardware will have new GUIDs. You will have to either use the dialog Hardware->Hardware Change or go through your axis and buttons and reassign them (but you don't have to create them from scratch).

Ah that sounds like a plan. Thankyou. I'll get into that in the morning as I'm just heading out. I promise when done I'll do regular backups
