Just flight Hawk T1/A. What’s it like in VR?

Featured Replies

I see just flight has a really nice reduction on this in their sale.   Does anyone fly this in VR?  What do you think of it ?

I ve been using the A2A Comanche to fly around world but could do with something a little bit faster occasionally 😂

Any thoughts appreciated

It‘s a very well done Jet Trainer. I owned it in P3D already and later purchased it for MSFS as well. Very pleasant to fly in VR! I recommend you to use a set of user-defined cameras to have easier access to all buttons, switches and levers.

The Hawk is excellent in VR - very immersive. Definitely worth picking up and there is a new update in the pipeline to address some flight model issues cause by recent MSFS updates.

The JF Hawk is excellent, and most certainly so in VR!

Do you know how to open the tablet ? (Not the efb?)

Yes - the Hawk is splendid in VR - inside and out.  If you do a pre-flight walk about, it is one of the best.

Not sure what you mean.  The EFB is the tablet.  In default, it sits at the RHS but, if you are after a more realistic uncluttered cockpit view then you click on the outer sides of it and it repositions itself onto the pilot's seat, so that it is still available but not directly in the line of sight.  Click the outer frame again gets it back to the RHS line of sight.

Sorry I was being an old word not allowed did not realise there was a home button that gives you all the different options. Ignore my stupidity !

The forum software maintains a list of words that cannot be used. It automatically replaces any of them by "word not allowed" 🙂

I agree with you all what GREAT fun in VR this is.  However low speed handles like a Robin Reliant !

Yes - indeed.  It doesn't like an overly slow approach!
