July 28, 20241 yr Is there a method of getting even simple flight plans to load into the current MSFS WT GNS 430/530? Oh I miss the days with RXP! July 29, 20241 yr Yes. If u choose more then you can load or save a flt or a pln. Been that way since the beginning -B

But loading and then starting a flight is not placing a plan into the GNS430 in the Blacksquare Turbine Duke's MSFS WT GNS430 when I start the flight. I find no true-to-Garmin file loading in the gauge itself. Do I need to load a saved .pln file? Or a saved .flt file? This is MSFS, LOL. Nothing has been that way since the beginning. July 29, 20241 yr You asked how to place a flt plan into the GNS. If you load a pln via the load menu it shows up in GNS. What you want beyond that is above my pay grade apparently and yes…you have ALWAYS loaded flight plans into the GNS that way. You CAN “dial them in” if you like. Good luck with that LoL -B Edited July 29, 20241 yr by btacon

Just as another data point, I loaded a FP three times using Load/Save and Load From this PC on the World Map page and the FP showed up in the GNS530 every time -- worked with both the Flysimware C414 and LearJet35A, and with the Black Square TBM850. The TBM850 has the configurable panel option so had to 'cycle the panel' to reselect the GNS530 option before the FP would show up. I don't have the Black Square Duke so can't comment on that. July 30, 20241 yr Author Thanks Bert. Seemed that was what I attempted but perhaps I was working instead with an .flt pllan. Wil check on my next BkSqTD flight. Planned route's waypoints are clearly depicted on the planning map. When I go Fly Now, when into the flight the flight plan is not showing up in the GNS of the Blacksquare Baron, PMS now-MSFS default GNS430 or GNS530. The GNS flight plan screen stays empty other than listing the departure airport. The new default GNS is the WT version, and it should pick up the flight plan from the World screen. Bert

Thank you Bert. Got it working today. That may have been it as I have (had) the PMS on my hard drive. However I use Addons Linker and verified I clearly have not had the PMS loaded. I have however now deleted the PMS from my hard drive addons folders. It was not otherwise anywhere in my Official or Community folders. Last night I also updated some Navigraph components. So not sure what eliminated the issue, but one of those two steps did. My flt pln and gfp files come from Simbrief and also work well in MSFS. August 1, 20241 yr As a point of information, I had the same problem with the Black Square Duke. Couldn't load a flight plan into the default GNS 530. I believe this started after SU 15.. Solved the problem by switching to the free PMS GTN750.
