My Disappointment with FSX 11!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Guest Stoopy

On the upside, there's a rumor that ACES is going to use FS11 as the platform for the long-awaited CFS4 addon! Which is perfect timing so's we can get in some last-minute dogfighting before the scheduled End Of Days coming up next year in 2014...I even bought a couple cases of bottled, breathable air so I can let out a whoop of joy when it hits the shelves! So, yes indeed, Merry Christmas! :)

I'm having NO problems running FSXI, sliders maxed to the right, on my PDP-8E. I'm glad too, because toggling in the entire program with the front panel toggle switches gets a bit tedious at times. Hopefully, Santa will either bring me the paper tape reader OR the hot new cassette tape loader for it and then I won't have to use those silly 10010110's and 110001010's to get the program loaded into those eight 4K memory banks!Ugh! When I think about it....since the PDP-8 was my first real computer...I've been doing this a loooonng time.bill

Help, I'm getting blurries when I fly past Uranus at .98 the speed of light and it takes so long. When are the developers going to introduce a service pack with the Hawkins Radiation mod in it? This product wasn't finished before it was published. I can't even land in black holes, what a rip off.

I think it's crap that there are no add ons for FS11. I mean come on! It'll be out in a few years, and what can I download for it....nothing! Another poorly supported flightsim.I did find an awsome tweak to get good FPS without having to upgrade my 5 year old computer though:Run_at_9k_FPS=TrueFinally I can max it out without upgrading!

The default aircraft included with FSXI are lame! Sure, Airbus acquired Boeing last year and then grounded the entire fleet. But is it fair to us simmers that the Microsoft division of Minitel was forced to remove the venerable old 747 and include the Airbus 380 by decree of the European Plutocracy settlement?Even the automatic update SP3 ( released far ahead of schedule ) for FSX removed the Boeings. But I'm still blocking it with my trusted Vista firewall, those European Gestapos can come over and pry the yoke from my dead hand.I hope they can't traceroute my IPvXI.
