FSX Reinstall Problem

Recommended Posts

OK. I deleted FSX, cleaned and defraged the drive (G: where FSX was loaded by itself), and reloaded FSX, then SP1, then SP2. Started FSX and found that I have no Modules folder. Where the H... does FSUIPC go??? On my previous FSX install it was there. Even after I added a folder named "Modules" and added FSUIPC it doesn't appear in the sim? This makes no sense to me. Is my only option to reinstall again? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, guys.

FSX doesn't have a modules folder by default.IIRC, you need to install FSUIPC so all the fiddly-bits are put in place for you. Also, I seem to recall that you need to add it to your dll.xml file and enable it there as well.

Thanks. I had forgotten that the new FSUIPC had an installer with it. I downloaded it again and reinstalled it. No problem.
