August 25, 20241 yr It isn't anything currently mentioned such as the 777 variants, 737 Max, or 747. https://msfsaddons.com/2024/08/25/pmdg-teases-new-aircraft-project-amid-development-updates/ Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. August 25, 20241 yr According to their screenshots they've posted I suspect the next aircraft is gonna be the BoeBusA3797 - they put an Airbus cockpit into a Boeing 797 model, easy. Puzzle solves. Thank me later. I am wondering that there hasn't been any mentions about the 737Max, whereas ifly seems to be close to release and have already postet screenshots. That might indicate PMDG will just publish or they are far behind ifly.

In this latest post he is talking about them working on 777 variants, the 747, an unnamed secret new aircraft project (not the MAX for certain), and 737NG updates. They would be spread incredibly thin to also be actively working the 737MAX. Seems pretty likely they are just conceding first release to iFly on the MAX.
August 25, 20241 yr Intriguing! When the DC-6 was released, RSR said it was the first of a possible line of classic airliners - but this looks a bit too modern for that. Business jet maybe ? Whatever it is, I shall follow with great interest. 👍 Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

Personally I think it would be fun, but I wonder about the practicality of market acceptance by our core customer base. - RSR Editor-in-Chief at SimulationDaily.com
August 25, 20241 yr Not related but, was I dreaming a year or two ago, or didn't PMDG say they were working on a 757 for MSFS?

August 26, 20241 yr If I were PMDG I'd be nervous about starting a Falcon 50 because smart money says Flysimware is already working on bringing theirs over to MSFS. And if their MSFS version of the Lear 35 is of any predictive value, if they do bring the Falcon over it's gonna be stellar. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light

I dont get the hype over their lear 35, poor cockpit textures, default asobo engine model, many other default systems, no wear and tear, no failures. Nothing special about it other than the fact that its a lear 35. Pmdg dont need to worry. August 26, 20241 yr Pmdg is a legacy conversion Dev. They have no means to start a new project that competes with the likes of Black Square, Bluebird or Fenix etc. http://youtube.com/c/Greazer

Clearly they have the means, although since their existing customer base seems to be asking for their existing product lines in MSFS, it would be daft to ignore it. @eslader have to admit I always preferred their Lear over the Falcon aanyway. More flights in that than anything else in P3D, in MSFS we've definitely got a bigger choice of bizjets so doesn't get to monopolise my time quite so much. August 26, 20241 yr I thought I heard not long ago that the MAX was basically done and "WILL" drop during the 777 release schedule? If PMDG gives up and kicks it downfield which will probably be a long time is disappointing. I have owned IFly products in the past and they are great. In fact I am willing to bet the IFly MAX will be the better airplane between them. However the sake of consistency I would prefer the PMDG release. If IFly brings the NG over into MSFS I would of coarse fully support that full line but I have not heard about IFly bringing the NG into MSFS.
August 26, 20241 yr 787 would clean up and is very similar to the 777. Quality Wings effort was medium level and the default ones in MSFS still have their limits. So for me, Dreamliner. Edited August 26, 20241 yr by bennyboy75
