IFly could drop soon

I wouldn't be suprised if RSR released the MAX one hour after iFly releases theirs. They've been very quiet about the PMDG 737MAX, which in itself says a lot (I mean it's PMDG, RSR usually talks for aeons about their products).
Rumors have it that they had the MAX ready 5 years ago and had to delay it because of real life events. They would need to port it over to MSFS, but technically this isn't that much different than doing another 737 variant with new screens, so it's possible they have this ready since last year.

I think that the PMGD MAX will be released together with the 737 updates. They say they are currently adding 777 improvements to the 737 and it would be wise to do that together with the MAX.

Is the iFly 737 MAX 8 for MSFS Really Close to Release?

I think it’s imminent and before Nov 19th.

Clickbait YT video with zero new info.

Really. Lots of speculation with zero substance.

It's impossible to gauge the state of development of an aircraft from a few short clips because the developer can show whatever they want and obviously won't show what isn't finished or polished. We've seen similar clips and previews from Fenix *several months* before their aircraft was released.

It could be very close of several months away. We simply do not know. Baseless speculation only serves to make people impatient.

It'll come when it'll come and they'll say it when they're ready. Clickbait videos won't change that.

"IFly could drop soon"....

Says the title of this thread.   With every tick of the second hand....it is technically sooner than the last time someone uttered this phrase, but let's say that its now "sooner'er"🤣

There has been a limited NDA lift where the beta team can now post screens only on their discord channel, so if you want to see what they are posting, head on over there.

There are also streamers streaming it.

I'd like to see a discount for those who have purchased the MAX on P3D, even though these are different platforms...

12400F - 32GB DDR4 - RTX4070 - Acer Predator Z35P - Sennheiser GSX 1000 - O11 Air Mini - 1TB NVMe + 2TB SSD - Windows 11 Pro - Gladiator NXT EVO - MSFS´20

totally different sim.  I'm not aware of many people offering aircraft discounts on the high level planes based on ownership in other sims like we see in scenery.  I think we are thankful to have developers in this niche hobby.  We should belly up to the bar and not expect discounts for that kind of thing.

NDA lifted for screenshots....here are a "few" of the paints I've done.  Streamers seem to be very impressed with the plane (I like it too).
