Traffic frozen at taxiways, mid runways and mid air

Recommended Posts

Hi, with the latest version 8.0.0, I'm having issues with all kinds of frozen traffic in almost any airport I load. Also a lot of appearing and disappearing traffic in a random way.

Thx.

PSXT seems to be sort of soft restarting every few minutes and when it does the leftover traffic doesn't disappear and gets left where it was. So when it injects the traffic again, you get duplicates. Then process repeats over and over.

Sounds like a bug. There is another topic on this issue already

It was a bug in an earlier version just a day or two ago which  was fixed, but has since popped it's head again.

Same problem here also with the latest version installed. Airplanes frozen in the air and main hub almost unflyable for bad performance also with LSFG ...too bad I was expecting the weekend to fly 🙂

Hope it can be fixed...PSXT seems to be, at the moment the most immersive and realistic  traffic for msfs

LSFG ?  Unknown..

It is a pity that I do not have the problems at all, how come?

I've flown at EHAM, EGGL, CYUL and LFMN ...

Please give me a location and an utc date and time, then I can replay that to see what is wrong. Also do not forget to tell P3D or MSFS and PXSX or PSXTraffic...

I’m also suffering with very bad performance out of nowhere with the latest version. Models seem stuck in places around the airport.

Did you look in the Log.txt? It may give you and me an idea what is wrong. Not just shout it does not work, please. You can help me a lot if your more specific.

Thanks Nico.. the flight was performed yesterday afternoon on MSFS at 15.30utc from Heatrow to Frankfurt. Full of frozen airplanes at both departure and arrival in the air. It never happened before, I only just updated PSXT.

I did another flight yesterday night after rebooting the system and frame was better and not frozen aircraft but I have the feeling that there is something slightly working differently with the last build. I'll report more info if it happens again.

PS: LSFG it is a miraculous program, at least for me, which if set properly improves performance enormously. This has been discussed at length on the forum.

Yes I know, but I though you were referring to an airport...  LSFG has nothing to do with the problems in PSXT I'd think.

The frozen traffic is leftover traffic not removed during a soft rstart, and performance issue are a direct impact of PSXT accumulating a high number of aircrafts .

It is not possible to reproduce the issue by going back in time. The issue is RT server timeouts related and not RT data quality .

Well it is fixed by 8.0.6 anyway.
