Hi all, joined the BATC supporters club yesterday , and yes great potential ahead i think. However aim getting strange AI models blank ones and weird Airlines such as Sky Knight and Black Pearl . they well be airlines but I've never heard of them. At first i thought it was a problem FS Traffic models so uninstalled and loaded in FSTL instead but still the same issue , anyone else having this issue ? should add this is with the Fenix

Well FSLTL and FSTraffic apparently do not have all airlines. You can install them via AIG, if you want to get rid of blank liveries.

Both of those are VERY limited in the number of airlines, but also that FSLTL includes dozens of VA liveries so you might be seeing some of those used in place of what is missing.

been on AIG website not sure how to just download the models ?

You need to download the AIG AI Manager. Once you have that you can select individual airlines to install or just all/by geography. I'm only using AIG models with BATC and have all of them installed, it's so much more variety than FSLTL or FSTraffic and not seen a blank or weird livery yet on my dozen or so flights since the traffic alpha was released. Only downside is that the effects (lights/animations) aren't yet as smooth as with FSLTL but it's being worked on.

And that the initial loadup of the sim from desktop becomes longer and longer the more AI models you install. A problem that has existed since the days of FS9.

True, but you get the same issue with every addon you add to your community folder. I have the full AIG install plus the full FSLTL install and on top of this around 400 addons and loading time is pretty long. But usually I fire up MSFS and do something else for 5min.

Sounds like you probably bumped into two small corporate or charter operators. What were they flying?

Edit: ah not quite Sky Knight is KM Malta (successor to Air Malta), Black Pearl is Eurowings' Malta AOC.

Were you flying to... Malta, by chance?

lol no i was in EDDL dusseldorf , ah eurowings big hub at EDDL

thanks for this , this is interesting , i guess FSTL doesnt have the liveries for these two airlines

It would make sense, they're both small operators and KM Malta is a brand new airline.

Might be able to find them in AIG (almost a certainty)

Oh... uh... 9H-EWB just taxiied past me at LKPR, using AIG.

So yeah at least Eurowings Malta is in there.

If you have the AIG models BATC will also match special liveries if they have a tail number defined properly.

So every Frontier Flight Airbus will match the correct animal livery for that flight.

use aig models and liveries and remember before to download to tick the liveries to be 2048 to save space and vram 

I got blank liveries at EDDF for the Embraer E jets, presumably Lufthansa Reguonal isn’t included in FSLTL. I have both FSLTL and Just Flight models installed, is there a way to combine the two?
