definitivly something wrong with AI lights

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Sorry to insiste but I did more and more test by Night. I can not see trafic , no lights.

I tried with different AI package as Just Flight FS TRAFFIC and before version 8.0.0 I had a lot traffic with their lights.

Now since 8.0 just a few aircraft have their lights ON, but most are OFF and cant see by night.

Just try in Just LFPG by night and see that.

Dont know if its RealTraffic issue or PSXT . Just remark also a plane A320 EZY landed with no light and turn all lights ON during taxi to gate.

So dont understand this .

Also important thing, I tried same models with VATSIM, and all aicrafts have lights by night (so not model issue).

Thanks for comments and help.

That's a nasty habit of MSFS/Asobo, although they should leave the control of AI aircraft to PSXT, they not always do and interfere.

Can't do anything about that.

I do not see any issues with the aircraft lights in MSFS, I use AIG and FSLTL models. I find that some models are better than others, but very rarely no lights at all. Most of the time everything is OK.

Again, in 8.0.0 and further nothing has changed wrt lights control in PSXT...

understood, but this morning also test with AIG airplanes, same result no lights most of aircrafts.

Tested with VATSIM and planes have lights.

In previous version 8.0.0 I had lot planes queuing approach by night and see their lights.

So cant do more test but something definitvly wrong in lights data provided and used with both RealTraffic and PSXT.

I tested with empty community and say again it was ok before 8.0

It is of no use to compare with VATSIM or IVAO, they are completely different systems ..

This is system in RT and psxt unfortunetly 😞

I'm sorry, but you are wrong, I'm afraid.  In particular RT has nothing to do with it, it not even has lights info.

Try turning “Skip pre-flight cinematics” to OFF. This worked for me, although it doesn't for some folks.  Also, make sure you use AI Traffic Lights Fixer mentioned in the AIG forums

AI lights are bugged in MSFS since SU9. We're on SU15 (I think) and Asobo/MS haven't fixed the bug yet. See this thread.

Tested with new nuild 8.1.0.

So yesterday at LFPG at midnight , had some ASL flight landing with lights.

I noticed a EZY flight landing with only taxi light (no nav no strobes&beacon).

I noticed a 777 full dark with no light.

So it seems lights working but it vary for some flight dont know why.

(Also tested VATSIM or IVAO software and all planes have lights.)

Also with FSLTL traffic,  lights are working with all planes.

Just weird.
