Graphics COMPARISON of MSFS 2024 vs MSFS 2020

Featured Replies

odd that there is not a peep of info from these pre-release reviewers on whether or not ground vehicles/people still wonder around on the taxiways and in some cases the actual runway.  Also no info on ATC.

  • Actually no... I was pretty much amazed by what I saw once it was installed on my PC. Looked kinda like the previews.

  • The more I see these comparisons the more impressive MSFS 2024's visuals are... starting off with the graphics of Sublogic FS on the Commodore 64 to now have the whole digital earth as our sandbox rep

  • Except in this case we are not just looking at produced videos by MS but also going by what all these various press and social media folks have actually seen with their eyes and used on test builds. A

I do not actually care whether the Bing photoscenery is the latest version or not. I just want it to be consistent, so that we do not get obvious joint lines running across the landscape (south eastern England between London Stansted and Duxford being a case in point since the last update)

They were told it won't be improved at launch, that's a post-launch thing as they need to make it work with the AI Traffic and new flightplanner.

However, you can hear new voices in some videos.

You can still see it happening in some of the videos.

Couldn't be easier.  save your image to somewhere like https://postimages.org/.  Copy the image URL, then just insert into your post.

Rarely works for me. Just silly avsim can't host their own images.

Potato specs for minimum msfs2024.

I think for sure they have improved close ground graphics, so you can walk around, i doubt every area of the world will look like that though.

When using imgur, you have to right click and open your image in a new window so that https:// imgur.com/a/HfsMSJE in the original window becomes this https:// i.imgur.com/NOKAt4b.jpeg in the new window that will show the image with the [img][/img] tags used here.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........i see now.

Could a mod please clean up the mess i made, i can't delete the messed up posts i made....cheers.

BTW, MSFS still looks stunning, i don't think people should have to now hate on MSFS, particularly when there are people who still play the old flightsim and X Plane 11 and 12...

Ryzen 5 3600 / RTX 2070 8GB / 2x8 RAM/

I have taken an obsessive amount of screen shots of MSFS, seems weird having to defend the graphics but it is what it is.

I'd be amazed if there weren't improvements for MSFS24, but my point is no way is MSFS suddenly redundant.

I promise no more pics from me now.....

What hate?  I don't see it.  Do you have any examples?  If not, please be careful not to exaggerate for no good reason.  I use 2020 but will simply switch to 2024 after release.  No hate from me or any other people on here as far as I can see.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
