Ok let’s say he is  on week on week off schedule. So yes once a week video would be a thing but not every other day! Lol

You know these people prepoduce videos and then release them on a schedule?

I understand full time youtube streamer would do that. Unless of course they live stream on same day as a product become available.

I have a few friends who do the same thing .  Let’s say during layover has at least one free day at the destination. You  are telling me that single guy carries with him entire gaming PC in suitcase just to make a stream? Ok let’s say he is  on week on week off schedule. So yes once a week video would be a thing but not every other day! Lol

I love sim too but when I have chose to rest before next flight or to sim the answer is obvious- safer first

He did bring his notebook a couple of times, yes, said so on the videos. Keep in mind he's mostly doing videos, not live streams.

As a long haul pilot you have about two weeks off per month. That's half the month free time, every month. He might record 20 videos in a week off and then just release them one by one on the following two weeks. You can release videos from anywhere in the world 🙂

I mean I have much less days off and have a family and still do a several hours sim flight every day, so if I can do it those lazy long haulers can do it too 😄

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Emi does that as well. He records enough videos in advance and then lets YouTube release them automatically while he is away on duty flying his long haul sectors.

So here's a typical schedule of an A330 F/O at Discover Airlines out of FRA. As you can see, plenty of time to (pre) record some videos and then release them on a schedule.

Intel i7-10700K @ 4.7 GHz | Nvidia RTX 3070 FE | 32GB DDR4 RAM

With pilots - They are only allowed to fly 900 hours in 12 month calendar period - with some regional carriers you can expect to do more then 12 hours every day, At that rate - one can quickly accumulate 900 hours. Again airline's scheduling department ensures equal distribution of hours every month but from pilots I know - they do get good balance of working days as well as days off every month, some of these days are spent as standby at home (basically awaiting call from scheduling/operations to cover any flights that require them).

He just dropped the video titled "So... after 15 flights, what IS MY OPINION" This is regarding iFly737. Wasn't iFly was just dropped in the beginning of this week? This is a lot of recording to do!

I was thinking the same! He might not have recorded all 15 flights though. I haven't watched the video you mention yet (not enough time!). If anyone has - would be really interesting to hear about his impressions after 15 flights. As I understand it, he's been more critical of the iFly Max than other YT'ers.

Seriously though, so what? People get bothered by the most trivial things. Let him release as many videos as he can, he manages his time however he sees fit, and I for one am just very appreciative of all the educational videos he releases.

Whether you like him or disagree with his style, or whatever, a lot of people find his content enjoyable. I’ve learned a lot from some of his videos, and I couldn’t care less how he finds time to do it.

Less you know better you sleep LOL Nobody advocate against this particular Youtuber. You do what pleases you. Some of us; however, have an issue how he projects himself otherwise known as "appeal of authority" While average consumer can enjoy whatever he posts, at the time he posted absolutely incorrect info and when questioned getting very defensive. This is a big turn off for me.

Just FYI we have 737 rated pilots in this forum and in even is this threat. Here is opportunity to ask and to learn.

I understand that some people find some of his videos controversial, and that’s fine. Like you said, do what pleases you, and I have no issues with people being critical of his videos or his perceived personality. None of us are perfect, and that’s completely fine. I just think it’s very petty to start questioning how he finds time to make videos.

Having said that, we all have our own opinions, and we don’t always have to agree with each other. Agree with him or not, he’s dedicating a lot of time to put out videos, some more informational than others, and some more controversial than others, but at the end, doing what he does is not an easy task and i can respect the amount of effort he puts into his videos. And me personally, have learned a lot from his videos.

Of course, we can all disagree with each other, I just felt the need to voice my opinion, as useless as it might be.

The gist of it is what it is clearly to see: Visually and from a modelling perspective it is one of the best aircraft out there. But there are major and minor issues in the systems modeling where other aircraft are better.

Including speed management, which is a pretty big issue.

So at this time it is not able to compete with either Fenix or PMDG on that level. Whether it will eventually time will tell.

For me personally that is enough to not buy it at this time and rather wait it out.

From what I've seen so far, and as someone who owns the P3D version of their MAX, it looks like they're bringing over all the faults and bugs from that version to this one. I'm highly skeptical that it's going to get much better than where it's at right now. There's way too much cope in the Flight1 discord from people who think iFly is going to solve huge issues before release like the arcade-like engine behavior. And since the iFly devs hide behind Flight1 and don't communicate with us, we have no idea what their actual goals or intentions are with this product.

Likewise. I'm a sucker for good visuals and sounds, though not at the expense of flight systems, especially when priced at $70.

Let's see how/if they address the problems raised.
