So there must be a system, and maybe Asobo just need more reports of where they are. I'm afraid that the system consists in a manual fix, and the same is true for FS2024 unfortunately. Another thing that worries me after a few hours of testing is something I exposed also a few months ago when they announced how the new sim works: how will the server infrastructure hold with almost all the graphics content streamed? If this tech alpha is a server test, what kind of indications can it give them, considering the very limited number of users connected, the almost total absence of PG and the low resolution terrain textures? Many people still suffers from the "low bandwidth" message on MSFS with 300+ GB installed. All this just 5 weeks from release... 😐 If the alpha were a server test, it would have made more sense to push all the graphics through. Almost nobody would play with those settings, not even the XBox Series S. Edited October 13, 20241 yr by MrFuzzy 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber

The ability to predownload the content you want to is still there. This has been clarified a gazillion times. Editor-in-Chief at SimulationDaily.com

For what its worth, the test version currently out feels remarkably smooth with consistent frame rates without having to resort to frame generation. There is some quite jarring stuttering going on while your aircraft loads in but once you're able to take the controls and fly it feels really good. You have a faster video card and CPU than I have so you'll probably be fine. Personally, I'm going to Game Pass the sim on release date to see what its like when the currently missing features are enabled. What I'm seeing in the area I like to fly doesn't seem like much of an improvement to me. Intel Core i5-12600k, Nvidia RTX 4070 Super, 128 Gigs.

Yes, I have a 4080, but even with the 14900k I have, it has been limited by the CPU (main thread) in 2020, so your report and feedback is encouraging. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).
