I considered the Aviator edition, but I just don't see that it is worth an additional $60. Hey Arwen !!!! October 17, 20241 yr Going by their recent 4 year performance record I'll wait for the dust to settle, and, when I get done laughing, might buy the 2024 version. Then again, I might not. I have no faith Microsoft/Asobo will all of a sudden get things right on November 19th and beyond. Pretty pessimistic outlook but they've proven repeatedly their level of incompetence. But hey, longshots do come in so I'll be happy if proven wrong. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe

If you pre-purchase through the MS store, no money is extracted from whatever payment method you use until the software actually releases. I pre-purchased only to “reserve” it - to avoid a rush of thousands of people trying to buy it all at the same time on release day. This of course may be a moot point if the download servers get hammered when it is officially released. October 17, 20241 yr No pre-purchase for me. I need to know that my existing addons will work with it first. When the dust has settled and the planets align, I will not be getting anything more than the Standard Edition. Just got back from Acadia NP in Maine. Really looking forward to MSFS 2024, which should really enhance my low level GA flying. Just not seeing any additional GA Aircraft in the Aviator edition that I would use. ~ Arwen ~ Home Airfield: KHIE

October 17, 20241 yr I bought the collectors edition, but I really am not the hoarder type so I'm not sure why I did. I guess I'll use the flight bag, but I'm literally in the middle of trying to clear out my aircraft model collection before the end of the year, and here I go adding an An-225 to it 🤦🏻♂️ Besides that, in the poll I voted Aviators. I never bought any of the Famous Flyers, so I'm definitely getting better value out of the whole package than most people. I'm excited for the ATR and An-225, plus the Saab 340, C-17, 747's etc etc. Jesse Casserly ✌🏼️ https://www.youtube.com/user/JesseCasserly757 💻 i7-10750H 2.6 GHz / 5.0 GHz, 16GB DDR4, 512GB SSD, 1TB HDD, RTX 2080 Super Saitek X-56 HOTAS
October 17, 20241 yr Pre-purchasing it allows you to get the water bomber to use now in 2020. It is an amazing plane and the cockpit looks like a mini airliner. It also looks great in VR. Plus, I want to show my support to Microsoft for giving us an amazing 2020 simulator.

October 17, 20241 yr Premium Deluxe for me. Already owned some local legends from 2020 and am not interested in the others I don't have.
