October 28, 20241 yr I set a default aircraft on a runway in World Map and press FLY. When the sim finishes loading I am in the cockpit accelerating down the runway at full throttle. My Bravo Throttle is full back, the mixture is a 0, and the prop is full back yet the plane accelerates rapidly BEFORE I can press READY TO FLY. If the plane is a tail dragger it immediately noses over into a prop strike. This just started happening recently but does now happen everytime I start the sim. Any idea what parameter I have set incorrectly? October 28, 20241 yr Author I did check the Bravo bindings and they are as they should be. After a prop strike, or crash into a building, etc forces me to restart the flight - the plane sits quietly on the runway waiting for me to press "READY TO FLY" AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D / MSI X870 Tomahawk Mobo / 64 GB DDR5 memory / RTX 4070 Super with 12 GB VRAM / AORUS FO48U 4k display NVMe for Drive C, an NVMe device dedicated to Flight Sim 2024 and a separate NVMe device for Flight Sim 2020 and an NVMe dedicated to 500GB of addons managed by AddonsLinker / 1 GB Comcast Xfinity Internet connection / HP Reverb G2 / Tobii 5 Head & Eye Tracking
October 28, 20241 yr Have you checked for a spurious throttle entry in all your bindings, not just bravo? Edited October 28, 20241 yr by btacon
October 29, 20241 yr I've noticed that if I hit escape to change a setting in the middle of a flight, when I return to the flight the throttle will be at 100% regardless of where it was set previously. I wonder if a similar thing's happening here, having to do with coming out of a menu and into the sim-world. The easy solve is to start in a parking space because the engine will be off (which honestly people should be doing anyway if they fly with live traffic, because it's annoying to be on short final when a 747 suddenly rezzes on the runway).
