November 12, 20241 yr Bought the Tristar Professional upgrade, cheap and turns the long-forgotten old FSX Tristar into the latest P3DV5 version 🙂 Pretty good, slightly tricky on take-off and approach, easy to get behind the drag curve drop into sink - don't know if the real thing was like that. VC good in VR, only disappointment is that the FMC and Annunciator panel are flat bit-maps. Can't find a click-spot to pop-up the FMC either. Also in VR I have to edit the panel.cfg to get rid of the huge white arrow that the screen navigation widget turns into. ...

I just bought it the VC10 Professional myself recently but I haven't flown it a lot yet but so far I'm really enjoying the plane despite things like the FMC as you mentioned. For the current price, it's a worthy plane imo. I can't speak to VR since I rarely use it, I actually prefer using my monitor, I have a very big screen so I can bury my face in the VC, that's immersive enough for me 😀 Edit: I meant to say The Tri Star not the VC10, I just bought them both recently. They both do have flaws, but they are small ones, I am enjoying flying them both. November 13, 20241 yr Interesting post on the JF Forum about the 1011 and DLC - https://community.justflight.com/topic/1682/tristar-pro-how-do-i-turn-off-dlc/2 It seems turning off the DLC helps it to fly more like a 'normal' airliner on the approach. I've tried it and it seems to work, with DLC you need to have a perfect approach set up... ...

Why is it higher than 18 bucks for the same plane offered on simmarket. when I asked "Is the package on Simmarket updated and latest version for FSX use? ", I am talking abouu what is the latest version for that FSX version of that plane. In other words, is the version for FSX plane in simmarket SAME as version for the FSX plane in JustFlight website??? Aharon Edited November 14, 20241 yr by Aharon

I see Simmarket in euros and JF in gbp is all. Dollars be different too, they might be charging you more for exchange rate for your region. Russell Gough SE London

I am interested in 18 buck package for FSX use offered by Simmarket but I need to know it is SAME LATEST version for FSX use offered by JustFlight at 24 buck price. THere must be some reason for price difference unless it is price mistake. Regards, Aharon
November 17, 20241 yr Just Flight is grossly overpriced. Good quality, I don't dispute that. But base prices are insane - need to drop by at least 50% and then maybe sales will make more sense i7-12700KF, RTX 3080 12GB, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, ASUS PG348Q 34" ultra-wide monitor, Track IR 5, HP Reverb G2, Windows 10 64-bit

JF as well as most other developers offer the latest version of all of their aircraft regardless of which site you buy them from. I do not know why they offer the same aircraft for different prices on different websites but that's the way it's always been. That is why when you find an add-on you like, it's always best to check all the different websites so you can find the best price. For example, you can find a lot of Carenado and A2A aircraft cheaper at SimShack than most other places.
