How will the iniBuilds A380 compete against the FBW A380?

All this hype over Flightsimlabs is getting ludicrous. They have not managed to release one single product during the entire lifecycle of MSFS. As far as I'm concerned they are out of the picture completely.

Yeah. I'll consider Flightsim Labs as part of the competition when they release *something*

  • I'd personally far prefer to see inibuilds focus the time and effort on making the best A350 they can make.  The FBW will get better and better.  Assuming they can be successful optimizing it, I don't

  • FBW has done a great job on the A380.  Especially for a plane that is in alpha and has a long road ahead of it.  But are you kidding?  It's most certainly not on fenix standards yet.

  • And Fenix is feature complete and great, no doubt about this! But I'm just always a bit sad to have this general feeling that "FBW is lower fidelity of course because it's free", while tons of st

First, thank you for your feedback!

We're working on an update to the 4K texture pack which should be available shortly. This may improve your experience. For the sake of our own data, what are your specs?

The example you give is a known bug, but this is in an unguided path, meaning it would not be trying to follow the path on the ND anyway. This happens in a number of scenarios, inlucidng course-to-fix legs in procedures, overfly waypoints, some cases where you overshoot a turn, etc.  This is accurate to the real FMS behaviour and the result of intentional tweaking. The drawing bug is not intended, but because it does not affect guidance is not a priority at the moment.

If you have other examples of LNAV issues, feel free to let me know or open a GitHub issue: https://github.com/flybywiresim/aircraft/issues

I've forwarded this feedback to the dev who worked on VNAV. The level off point missing is a known bug due to it not being able to placed on MANUAL legs at the moment.

This is a known issue that the engine model is currently overpowered. This will see continuous work going forward.

Feel free to open an issue on GitHub if it doesn't already exist: https://github.com/flybywiresim/aircraft/issues

There should be some improvements coming in the next release, look out for that.

The pitch axis is quite sensitive when you haven’t applied the recommended sensitivity, maybe that is the reason why you feel like that.

You know...agree with you. And it really became ridiculous. Specially the way how they interacting in their Portal. In respect to their (previous) products I have to say that they were number one (my opinion). But that quickly faded away after introduction of FS and their interaction with customers. Two years behind everything? Well, not sure if that makes sense, unless they are out of business but that I believe they would announce. I am not sure really how and to what extent NDA works, but nonsense and rude answers we were getting from them is bad. I can't believe that PMDG or Fenix or whoever has that type of NDA. And all they were giving us a hints during "production". Besides NDA by whom? Lefteris himself? Hmmm...😞

And I am not sure at this point what they are actually planning. Personally for me, Fenix and their A320, ate their lunch and even if they come with something I wouldn't be interested....Unless something revolutionary comes out (not sure what that could be). But knowing their capabilities and ability to deliver premium product they can come with something new, wide body, and I am sure that will be premium add-on. And I would consider that depending what it is...Personally I am not crazy about A380 but 330neo or 350 would be nice. Anyway. Will se what happens. I liked their product before but not happy with customer service.

Everything is working. And for 4X it's stable. I also set max simrate to 8X and I would say, almost stable there as well at least during 200 nm, didn't test it more than that.

Again, thanks a lot!

And BTW regaring user feeback: I always use VR for t/o and landings so my input there is that zooming (holding right-click down) do not work. Otherwise no specific problems with VR.  Again my "world" is  aircraft 4K version, GSX 4090, processor 12900, mem 32K

And I'm curious to see how your pull request will work.
