SWS RV10 with PMS GTN 650 question

Featured Replies

I have the PMS GTN plugin running alongside the SWS RV10 (< which is fantastic BTW), but I cannot fathom how to change the CDI on the 650. A 750 unit, of course, has a CDI button on the map screen, but the 650 doesn't.

Ordinarily I'd switch CDI modes on the PFD, but the RV10's avionics (insofar as I can see) doesn't allow me to do that (or rather: I have not had enough coffee to see how). Aware that internal or external nav device can be selected, but would imagine external is needed to run along a flight plan in the GTN?

Input appreciated ... meanwhile I'll get some coffee going. 😆

Thanks @Bert Pieke, I see that on the Nav screen, however the change on the GTN has no effect on the PFD (stays on Locator 1). Seems strange to me that one cannot use the GTN as a primary source of nav inputs.

Not sure how the PMS unit plays with the Glass cockpit in the RV8...  You could try the analog gauge version and see how things work there!

RV8 is fine, this is the RV10 giving me trouble.

Removing the GTN (and using standard GNS) has everything working as expected. Strange.
