It is interesting to me that some downright refuse to understand the purpose of Discord much less try and learn how to use it, but gleefully will print 600 page documentation to learn an aircraft.

Discord is like version.5 of Twitter(X), Facebook, Instigram, Reddit etc. PMDG is not dealing with that S "word not allowed".

Immediately signed up. I did not want to use their forums. This is a decent alternative for me.

I view discord as not a replacement for forums.  And forums not a replacement for discord.  They supplement each other.

Right now, Discord is a must for me on a daily basis, where I can check my best add ons. Fenix, BATC,  MSFS 2020,  A pilots Life, GTN750, PMDG, Flight Sim First Officer,  and rkApps. I have a question, usually get an answer in a few minutes.

Exactly why i did not do their forums. Additionally i have all my devs in one spot and can drop into any of their chats as needed or get notified when announcements are made read it and get out without too much of a hassle..

Why no cute animals sprinkled around Avsim forum, like Discord?? We need to encourage pre teenagers and others who are easily amused.
