I don't know what's going on over at Aerosoft lately.

They have a scandalous lack of organization. It's very disappointing after spending 322EUR and I won't be playing on day 1!

I just received this email:

Unfortunately, we have to inform you that the delivery of your preorder will be late due to unexpected shipping delays to our warehouse in Germany. Orders placed on our US-Store are not affected.

We know how much you are looking forward to your Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 - Limited Collector's Edition and we sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. Please be assured that we are working with Microsoft and our partners to ship your pre-order as quickly as possible.

 

At this time, and after consultation with our partners, we anticipate shipments to begin in the first week of December.

 

As soon as we have more information, we will of course inform you as soon as possible.

 

Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.

A long story seems to end, just a faint shadow of what it was this company. Embarassing. Glad I preordered only a digital copy...

Wow that’s brutal.  They should be able to give out digital keys or something…not acceptable in this day and age.

That is very annoying and the words "we anticipate" don't inspire any confidence. I hope it doesn't become a Christmas present 😞

They should offer some type of refund. That’s ridiculous. I feel terrible for all those who bought that version and are getting smacked in the face.

Surely they can get you a digital copy until it arrives, especially after spending that amount on it.

Yes this sucks, I’m too not bothered about the physical objects arriving late, although that is annoying , but if they don’t email a license key to use on day one I’ll be very disappointed by the whole experience.

How can I cancel my purchase and receive a refund?

Are they the only one merchandising the physical copy?

If so, might be more to this than just AS.

I was tempted! But I'm happy I didn't order it!

Simple, Refrain from doing future business with them.

The exception would be if it is beyond there control which could be the case.

Aerosoft seems to have a little more explaining to do.

 

So glad I passed when I saw they were the only distributor.  Sadly they confirmed my decision.  

Maybe I remember this wrong, but this wasn't this also the case with the physical MSFS release?

Same here.  But I thought there was a good chance something would get effed up (since its Aerosoft) with a physical copy.  I just did the tried and true via the microsoft store.

Indeed. Agree here totally. 

Its Questionable why a seller wants money first and delivers weeks afterwards. What's is happening with that money? Is it a pre investment from a customer needed to cover productioncosts, that would be remarkable at a company like aerosoft.

 

The fact they can't make a clear statement with a new delivery date but instead use words like (anticipate" is honest AND makes things worse at the same time. 

In days of digital software they could at least offer the possibility to deliver digital keys.....that should be possible if the hardware (cd\dvd) is not already produced. 

Whatever ...aerosoft raises questions again......and their software a330 also did that lately. 

I won't buy from them any products because I think the potential issues at aerosoft could be bigger then it seems atm
