I've recently been flying some of my older addons, addons which gave me a lot of joy throughout MSFS2020's lifespan.  Here is the Black Square King Air 350 on a quick hop from Brainerd KBRD to Duluth KDLH.  It's about 95 flying miles or so including the visual approach to runway 27.  I'm cruising at 15,000 today.  There is forecast icing as well but we've got a nice direct tailwind of nearly 50 kts.  Which gives us a ground speed of well over 320 knots... it's a quick flight!

Hope you enjoy!

This low overcast layer looks superb!  Gear up as we depart BRD's runway 24...

And just like that we're in the soup

With an almost 3000 fpm climb rate, we're out on top in about 2 minutes!

It's a fine looking aircraft

About 50 miles from DLH the clouds begin to break up... the METAR shows FEW038 so a visual approach should be no problem

We're cleared for the visual by Duluth Approach controllers as we head to a dogleg left base...  Lake Superior out ahead (and a 'laker' taconite ship is about to go under the Aerial Lift Bridge)

Flying just inside of the "Antenna Farm" - most of the airliners would fly a visual outside of them - but the small corporate jets and bizprops can easily make a base inside (which ends up being a 3-5 mi base leg)

Hard to find a bad angle of the mighty king air!

Lining up on final here with gear down

Off my right is the 148th FW - home of Duluth's Fighting Bulldogs (F16s)

This is a wonderful freeware rendition of Duluth by MN Scenery Design (they've got a few other great MN destinations https://flightsim.to/file/25914/duluth-intl-kdlh-version-1-1 )

Forgot to feather the props!  Oooops!  (Someone told me they should feather on their own eventually - maybe a bug?)

A great day to fly!  Hope you've enjoyed!

It looks great. I see you're back to business props again. By the way, what aircraft are you going to first fly in FS2024?

Cool shots, Ryan!

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

...🙂...How times have changed, Ryan...MSFS2020, after only 4 years is already kind of getting old...

Beautiful set here with the King Air 350...And agree, it's a most remarkably sharp-looking airplane from any angle...
