Where is the user configured cameras.cfg file stored

Featured Replies

There is a cameras.cfg file located in the aircraft/simobjects/airplanes/'aircraftname' folder but when I copied a backup of that file back after a complete reinstall (grrr) it didn't work so I thought that maybe when a user sets up his own cockpit camera positions they may get saved elsewhere.

Thanks

My cameras.cfg which I have set up individually per airplane are for the MSFS-store version which I installed as per default are in my case for instance for the PMDG 737-700 under

C:\Users\?????\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\

LocalCache\SimObjects\Airplanes\pmdg 737-700

Thanks  Andreas

Yes the stock cameras.cfg are in the location where MSFS is installed and the user configured ones are stores where you state ie in the users on 😄 drive. Thanks again.
