What new features of FS24 are you looking forward to?

Featured Replies

Funnily, I couldn't identify a single feature that I'm really looking forward to on its own.

It's pretty much the whole package. There's massive progress almost across the board.

I'm looking forward to see where AI traffic will land, but that's more a wait and see thing since we haven't seen much yet besides the (very impressive) models.

Rabbit hunting, slacklining and perhaps a bit of zorbing. Let’s just fast forward one week and skip these incessant threads which lead nowhere. Then @MarcG can proudly state that they got their prophecies fulfilled (i.e. a bug-ridden release), and @Abriael can fiercely defend their hilltop, claiming that Microsobo did everything right and it’s the Best Sim Ever.

*other than the above, I (honestly) look forward to test the MAX, A330 and A400M. I’ll definitely land the 152 on a riverbank somewhere in Alaska to check out the 4000x increase in ground detail. If performance is improved, I might even pop a bottle of Prosecco.

The new Honeywell avionics in the PC24!

We are so spoiled with what WT has done for us in 2020.  Can't wait to see their work in 2024.

Looking forward to a lot of things, but one thing that I think hasn't been mentioned yet: 24-hour historical weather.

I can only sim in the evenings, so I really look forward to being able to do daytime flights in my home region with real weather.

As I have limited sim time available the two big things for me are short loading times and simple control setup/ UI.

I'm looking forward to the presence of rocks, pebbles on the landscape and passengers in the cabin, cant wait to make an emergency diversion when a fight breaks out in the cabin, unruly passengers hurling rocks around. lol

For me it’s the lighting, seasons, new flight planner and of course missions/career mode.

Plus I think it will be fun to see if other areas of the sim have had upgrades that our short demo didn’t reveal.

Seasons are a big one. When I went back to 2020 after the Tech alpha ended I missed them.
