Unfortunately, no. There's also no way to "make 'em transparent" like we could in FS9... ;(

>Unfortunately, no. There's also no way to "make 'em>transparent" like we could in FS9... ;( The good thing is, *some* (wink wink) aircraft are made to have the yoke disappear/reappear by mouse-click in the VC.Too bad the stocker aircraft don't have this option, it would be really nice.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian

Well, when I fly my real airplane, the darn thing seems to get in the way too. I just lean forward, or sideways, etc... This should have been an obvious fix for flightsims. In real life, we can't remove the yoke, why couldn't they have just made a function to manuver the pilot in the cockpit.

That would be nice.Obviously in your real airplane you only have one yoke on each side not double ones. One in the sim and one external.Ron

A TrackIR will help you look around yokes in the VC. The idea of using "disappearing textures" is an interesting one. In FS9, and as far as I know in FSX, if the object is missing a texture it will render as invisible. That would mean deleting out the yoke textures, although premuably an invisible yoke would still be in the aircraft bocking mouse clicks on the switches behind it. However, I am just conjecturing here, obviously there is more to solving the problem than getting rid of textures. Some developers do allow for user-configurable cockpits: you can change the colours, swap out instruments and such like. I particularly like cockpits that allow you to add or take out components like the GPS or the yoke with a mouse click. My absolute favourite are the "click-to-enlarge" type of instruments, that invention still rocks my world. Jeff ShylukAssistant Managing EditorSenior Staff ReviewerAVSIM

I have TrackIR and I agree about the clickable hot spots.PAD has them.I have buttons set up to change heading etc so invisible yokes that block mouse clicks is not an issue.Ron
